Suzuki Presents SUV Concept at Detroit International Auto Show

American Suzuki Motor Corporation recently acknowledged that it will be premiering its first-ever midsize SUV concept, currently labeled Concept X, on Monday, January 10 in Detroit's Cobo Conference/Exhibition Center during the 2005 North American International Auto Show.

As part of its business plan to triple sales by 2007, Suzuki is leveraging its SUV expertise to create the adventure-inspired Concept X, which is described as muscular in style, with daring interior and exterior features, versatility, functionality, safety, performance and "infotainment" features.

Some highlights of the Concept X include a V-6 engine with what Suzuki says will be class-leading horsepower, as well as new full-time four-wheel-drive system combining on-demand low-range ability with typical all-wheel-drive efficiency, and a host of other innovative features.
